Fresh eggs and homemade preserves from our small farm near Wem, Shropshire.
The ingredients in everything we make are grown naturally and pesticide-free here on the farm or gathered from our hedgerows, prepared in small batches and sold at the gate.

Our heritage & rare breed hens are a team made up of Orpingtons, Cream Legbars, Light Sussex & Cochins (and a rescued Jak!).
Our girls are corn mix fed & have plenty of safe space outdoor to roam.

One quail egg contains only 14 calories but is rich in a variety of vitamins and minerals and is higher in protein, iron, vitamin B12, and riboflavin per
gram than chicken eggs.
Despite their small size, their yolk-to-white ratio is higher, contributing to their richer flavour and nutrient density.


Made with eggs from our own quail flock here at Cross Bank Farm, these jars contain a minimum of 17 quail eggs, gently pickled in our own vinegar with a lightly spiced and herbed brine. Bright, tangy and rather moreish, perfect for salads, grazing boards, or eaten straight from the jar
when nobody’s looking.

Quince & crab apples from our orchard, simmered gently and strained into a jewelled jelly.
Floral, tart & deeply traditional. Excellent with game & cheese, very good with cold meats & quietly brilliant anywhere a little taste lift is needed!

Grown here, jellied here. Golden Comet crab apples from our orchard, simmered & strained into a jewel-bright jelly with nothing but fruit & sugar. Brilliant with game & cheese, surprisingly good with cold meats & frankly anything else that needs a bit of sparkle.

Grown here on the farm. A mix of Conference pears & Bramley apples, slowly blended together with nothing but fruit, sugar & patience. Perfect on hot toast, splendid with cheese & surprisingly persuasive on a cold-meat platter.
Ingredients: Sugar, pears, apples, lemon juice, vanilla bean extract, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg.
A hedgerow zing in a jar! Cheekily spiced & slowly-simmered sloes, brab apples, gala apples, red onion & blackberries give this blend a unique character. Dollop it with cold meats, pile it on a cheeseboard or tuck it into a sandwich when you want fancy a spicy treat.Ingredients: Apple cider vinegar. Soft brown sugar. Sloes. Crab apples. Gala apples. Red onion. Blackberries. Ginger. Salt. Allspice. Cinnamon. Chilli.


Grown here, blended here. Wild sloe berries & Bramley apples slow-mingle until the tartness softens & the flavour warms. Brilliant on game and cheese, excellent with cold meats & deliciously cheeky on a warm slice of toast.

Our cheeky ketchup of wild berries, apples & warming spice, simmered until gloriously thick & unapologetically saucy. Slather it on cold meats, burgers, cheese or anywhere that needs a polite kick in the tastebuds.


Our honey is produced by British Buckfast bees here at Cross Bank Farm. They forage widely across the surrounding countryside, gathering nectar from hedgerows, wildflowers and gardens to create a rich, local honey that is extracted and jarred here on the farm.
Our beeswax wraps are handmade here on the farm using wax from our own Buckfast bees.
we've a selection to choose from 20cm, 26cm, 32cm & 50cm.
Each wrap is individually cut, dipped & dried and can be used again & again as a natural alternative to cling film, helping keep food fresh while reducing waste & looking rather lovely all-round!



Empty quail eggshells from our quail flock here at Cross Bank Farm. Carefully blown and cleaned so they are ready to use, these delicate shells are perfect for crafts, miniature art, floristry, Easter decorations or other creative projects. Available in natural speckled shells or the beautiful pale blue Celadon eggs.
